Made 10 appearances with a 5.06 earned run average…struck out 10 batters in 10.2 innings pitched…career-high 2.2 innings pitched and three strikeouts at Notre Dame…did not give up an earned run in seven of 10 appearances…half of strikeouts came in doubleheader against the Fighting Irish.
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2018):
Appeared in 10 games, striking out 12 batters and finishing with a 1-0 record…reached on an error in his only plate appearance, coming around to score a run against UCF (3/21)…earned the win against Troy (2/24), allowing just one hit and striking out three against the Trojans in FSU’s 6-5 win…threw a career high 2.0 innings against UCF (3/21), allowing a hit and striking out two batters.
PERSONAL:
Went 6-2 with 86 strikeouts in 84 innings en route to first team All-Conference and second team All-State honors in 2017 at Daytona State College…first team all-conference and second-team all-state at DSC…two-time pitcher of the year for Daytona State and all-time wins holder at Daytona State…three years on the Dean’s List in high school at Spruce Creek…brother Bryce is in the Mets organization and father Roger was an outfielder at Marshall…majored in psychology…born December 15, 1995.
