SENIOR (2019):
Hit .246 (14-for-57) in 11 starts and 46 appearances…had two hits in the ACC Tournament against NC State, including a double…added four hits in the Athens Regional, earning All-Athens Regional team honors after hitting three home runs, scoring five runs and seven RBI…added an RBI in each game of the Baton Rouge Super Regional against LSU…his sacrifice fly in game one broke a 4-4 tie in FSU’s eventual 6-4 win…he hit an RBI double in FSU’s 5-4, 12-inning win against the Tigers in game two that sent FSU to its 23rd College World Series…one of the biggest stories of the postseason, Becker had just four regular season RBI before getting nine in the NCAA Tournament.
PERSONAL:
Spent the previous three seasons on the Florida State club baseball team…was the team captain and President in 2018…spent his freshman season at Palm Beach State College…injured his senior year of high school and at PBSC before coming to FSU…joins the likes of Golden Spikes Award winner Mike Fuentes and current Los Angeles Angels infielder Sherman Johnson as walk-on standouts for the Seminoles…possesses a strong arm and is a good baserunner…graduated with a degree in finance and earned his MBA in 2019…born October 3, 1995.
