ON MUHAMMAD
An outstanding shooter and rim protector who will be a valuable addition to head coach Luke Loucks’ first Florida State team…comes to Florida State after stops at Seton Hall in the Big East, national junior college powerhouse College of Southern Idaho, and Umas in the Atlantic 10…entered the transfer portal on March 31, 2025 and committed to first-year Seminole Head Coach Luke Loucks on June 6, 2025…an outstanding shooter who shot .636 from the field during is one season at UMass…a true center who is defensive minded with long arms and great timing which all allow him to be an outstanding rim protector…his best attribute is that while he doesn’t block every shot, he alters many shots that go up on his defensive sphere…utilizes his 7-4 wingspan very much to his advantage…a member of the Riverside Hawks AAU team. 

AS A JUNIOR (2025)
Averaged 3.5 points (ninth on the team), 2.2 rebounds (seventh) and 1.5 blocked shots (first) during his one season at UMass…played in 31 of 32 games and averaged 12.5 minutes played per game…earned three starting assignments against Temple (Nov. 23) and Florida State (Nov.24) in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Classic and against Loyola Chicago (March 8) in Atlantic 10 play…scored in double figures twice with 12 points coming against Temple and 10 coming against NJIT (Dec. 1)…totaled his career-high of 12 points to go along with four rebounds against Temple…a starter with eight minutes of playing time as Florida State defeated the Minutemen, 92-59, in the second round of the Tip Off Classic at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Ct…totaled 6 or more points in seven games in his only year at UMass…his highest scoring games came against Louisiana Tech (Nov. 13, 6 points), against Temple (his career-high of 12 points), against NJIT (10 points), against Arizona State (Dec. 21, 6 points), at St. Joseph’s (Dec. 31, 6 points), at La Salle (Feb. 9, 8 points), and at St. Bonaventure (March 5, 6 points)…totaled five or more rebounds against New Hampshire (Nov. 4, five rebounds), NJIT (five rebounds), against Richmond (Jan. 4, 5 rebounds), and at La Salle (5 rebounds), with his career-high of 6 rebounds came at St. Bonaventure (March 5)… led the Minutemen with 47 blocked shots as he ranked fifth in the Atlantic 10 with47 blocked shots and a 1.5 blocked shots per game average…his career-high of five blocked shots came in his first career game at UMass against New Hampshire…totaled 18 blocked shots in his first five games at UMass – his career-high of 5 against New Hampshire, 2 at West Virginia (Nov. 8), 3 vs. Louisiana Tech (Nov. 13), a career-high tying five against Hofstra (Nov. 16) and three against Temple…earned at least one blocked shot in 22 of 31 games with multiple blocked shots coming in 11 different games…totaled four blocked shots twice – against NJIT and at St. Joseph’s – and earned three or more blocked shots in eight games. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2024)
Played one season at the College of Southern Idaho…averaged 5.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.5 blocks in 30 games for the Golden Eagles…helped Southern Idaho to a 23-9 overall record…was a NJCAA Region 18 Second-Team selection…established the program record for most blocks in a season, with 106 in 30 games for a 3.5 blocked shots per game average…helped his team make it to the NJCAA D1 Region XVIII Finals in 2024. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2023)
Averaged 0.4 points and 0.4 rebounds in 10 games played as a freshman at Seton Hall…helped the Pirates to a 17-16 overall record and a 10-10 record in Big East play…helped lead Seton Hall to a birth in the 2023 Postseason NIT where the Pirates fell to Colorado by a 65-64 score…totaled two points in victories over Wagner (Nov. 20) and Lincoln (Dec. 7) in his first collegiate season…totaled two rebounds in his first career game against Monmouth (Nov. 9)…blocked one shot in three different games – one each against Saint Peter’s (Nov. 12), Wagner, and Butler in Big East play (Jan. 7).
