Swam in the 400 free relay prelims at the NCAA Championships that qualified the Noles in 14th place for the consolation heat… competed in his first career ACC Championship final placing fourth (1:34.91) after swimming his personal best in prelims at 1:34.65…placed 19th in the 100 free (43.50) after setting his career best in prelims at 43.47…helped the Noles win silver in the 400 free relay and also swam the second leg of the 800 free relay that set a school record… placed 10th in the 50 free at the GT Invite at 20.22 after swimming a personal best in prelims of 20.04 as he was one of seven swimming in the A final at the meet…finished fourth in the 200 free (1:36.76) and seventh in the 100 free (43.65)
2016-17:
Arrived in January of 2017…placed 10th in the 200 free at the ACC Championships with a time of 1:35.17…also helped the Noles place eighth in the 800 free relay at ACCs…also competed in the 100 free and 50 free…competed at the 2017 World University Games in the 200 free and 800 free relay for Brazil.
Prep:
Won the bronze medal in the 100 free at the Junior World Championships in 2015.
