2018-19
Was a part of all three All-American relays at NCAAs that also set school records during the season…swam the third leg of the 200 and 400 free relays that finished fifth – turning in the highest finishes in school history in those events…swam backstroke in the 200 medley relay that finished seventh…competed individually at NCAAs in the 100 free (42.26) and 50 free (19.43)…was a part of the 200 free relay that captured gold at ACCs…also helped the Noles win silver in the 400 free relay and bronze in the 200 medley relay…finished 18th in the 50 free (19.59), 11th in the 100 back (46.43) before placing fourth in the 100 free (42.55)… helped the Seminoles achieve two NCAA A standards in the 200 and 400 free relays at the GT Invite…placed sixth in the 100 free (43.45) and 10th in the 50 free (19.95)…also finished 13th in the 100 back at 48.32…competed at the 2018 European Championships for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 50m free (23.19) and 100m free (50.95).
2017-18
Led off the 400 free relay at the NCAA Championships that finished ninth in school record-setting fashion earning an All-America honorable mention…finished in eighth place in the 100 free at the ACC Championships (43.29) after swimming a personal best in prelims at 43.08…placed 18th in the 50 free with a career best swim of 19.76 and was also 19th in the 100 back (47.65)…helped the Noles win silver in the 400 free relay…swam a personal best time of 43.11 at the GT Invite in the 100 free and finished third…sixth in the 50 free (19.86) and was 13th in the 200 free (1:38.48)..also helped the Noles set a new school record in the 400 free relay at 2:51.27, taking down a record that was set in 2009.
2016-17:
COntributed on the 200 free relay that took 11th at the NCAA Championships…was a member of the 200 free relay that won silver at the ACC Championships…put up a career best time in the 50 free taking 18th at ACCs as was also 23rd in the 100 free at 43.90…finished 18th in the 50 free Placed 10th in the 50 free at the UGA Invite with a personal best time of 19.98…added a 20th place showing in the 200 free (1:38.81) and 22nd place finish in the 100 back (49.71)…was also eighth in the 100 free after swimming a personal best in prelims at 43.72.
2015-16:
Was the Bosnian National Champion in the 100 and 200 free events…swam his best times and scored in all three of his events at the ACC Championships…placed 24th in the 50 and 100 free in addition to placing 13th in the 200 free…won the C final of the 200 free with a time of 1:38.01 at the Georgia Invite…scored points in the 100 free in 16th after swimming a career best of 44.73 in prelims…was second in the 100 free in the win over Minnesota
High School:
a two-time state champion, first winning the 50 free his junior season with a 20.81 before taking the 100 free as a senior for Ridgewood High School…He also ran track and played basketball and has been in the sport for three years…a national qualifier in the 100 free as a member of Pipeline Swimming where he is coached by Devin Murphy.
Personal:
Born Nov. 6, 1996…son of Nizama and Faik Muratovic…was on the honor holl all four years at Ridgewood High School.
