Competed at the ACC Championships in the 500 free (4:35.40) 200 free (1:44.00) and 1650 free (15:36.13)…finished 14th in the 1650 free (15:33.36) at the GT Invite…also competed in the 500 free (4:34.41) and 200 free (1:43.50)…took sixth in the 1000 free at 9:44.09 against No. 14 Arizona State…took seventh in the 500 free (4:49.24) and 1000 free (9:47.51) against No. 3 Florida…grabbed fourth place in the 500 free (4:46.53) against Florida Southern…finished eighth in the 400 IM (4:16.77) and fourth in the 1650 free (16:13.33) against No. 18 Alabama…took fourth in the 1000 free (9:54.54) against FAU.
High School
Finished sixth at the 2018 VHSL 4A State Championships in the 500 free with a time of 4:37.45 and was also 10th in the 200 free (1:44.74) helping Monacan to a runner up team finish. Johnson took fifth place in the 1500m free with a time of 15:59.43 and was also second in the 1000 free with a time of 9:21.08 at the PV NCAP Tom Dolan Invitational.
Personal: Born June 30, 1999…son of Daniel and Meredith Johnson…swam for the Poseidon Swimming Club where he was coached by Ted Sallade.
