PERFORMANCE PROFILE

Though just a second-year member of the team, has the most collegiate experience on the roster…spent most of the summer training in Tallahassee, which could pay dividends…with international experience representing his native Hungary and a season under his belt regularly among the scoring five, he could be a stabilizing force for the young squad.

Indoor: Lined up in five meets…posted a new personal-best in the mile at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational (4:05.84)…anchored the DMR at the ACC Championships as the Noles finished eighth in 9:46.05; the No. 6 time in program history. Outdoor: Saw action in seven meets, focusing primarily on the 1500…season-best 3:51.70 came in fourth-place finish at the Seminole Twilight…also ran the 1500 and 5000 at the ACC Championships.

Before FSU:

Made the most of spending the 2016-17 year back home in Hungary after two years competing at Southern Utah, where he was a teammate of ’16 Nole Ibrahim Ahmed…was runner-up for the second time at the 2017 Hungarian Indoor Nationals in the 3000…followed by winning his first Hungarian Outdoor national title in the 5000…was seventh at the ’17 European U23 Championships in the 5000…has represented his country at least nine times in European and World competitions between cross country and track & field…a six-time junior national champion…pulled the 5000/10,000 double at the 2014 World Junior Championships in Eugene, Ore….owns PBs of 3:46.77 (1500), 8:12.69 (3000), 14:11.35 (5000) and 30:04 (10,000).
