BIO:
Senior 400-meter hurdler who is poised for breakthrough in final season…owns a personal-best of 52.81 set at the at 2017 the Seminole Twilight…has worked extensively on speed development by contributing to the 4×400 relay.
2018
Indoor: Saw action in three meets….recorded indoor personal-best in the 400 at the Razorback Invitational…ran on the 4×400 relay at both the Tyson Invitational and ACC Championships. Outdoor: Competed in five meets, handling the stick on the 4×400 at the FSU Relays and National Relay Championships…progressed in each of his three 400-meter relay performances, capped by a season-best (53.42) at the ACC Championships.
2017:
Indoor – Three top-6 finishes…placed fifth at the Clemson Invitational in the 300m with a time of 36.08 seconds…finished fifth with the 4×400 relay at Clemson’s Bob Pollock Invitational (3:15.77). Outdoor – Competed in seven meets including the ACC Championships…seven top-10 finishes including four top-5 finishes at FSU Relays, Tennessee Relays in both the 4×4 and 400H and Seminole Twilight…finished second in the 400H at Seminole Twilight in a personal-best time of 52.81 seconds.
2016:
In the lineup seven times during the outdoor season, capped by the ACC Championships where he posted his season-best (53.29) and narrowly missed the finals…posted third-place finish at UNF Twilight in 53.72, dipping under 54 seconds for the first time…ran on the 4×400 relay at the Seminole Invitational and at Rafer Johnson-Jackie Joyner Kersey Invitational…competed in only one meet indoors, aiding the 4×400 at the UAB Blazer Invitational.
Personal:
Talented athlete from the Bahamas who starred in basketball before turning his attention to track & field…uncle is former FSU football tight end Kamari Charlton…sat out 2015 season as a redshirt, though he competed unattached in home meets.
