PERFORMANCE RESULTS

Senior returns for his fifth season after sitting out 2016 outdoor campaign with a heavy academic load…came to FSU as a walk-on football player from Texas but returned to his track roots during 2013 outdoor season as a 400-meter hurdler…placed fifth in 400 hurdles at 2015 ACC Championships.

2016:

Saw action in two indoor meets, competing in the 400-meter dash…posted collegiate-best 50.56 at the UAB Blazer Invitational.

2015:

Enjoyed a breakout season, shaving nearly two full seconds off his previous best in the 400 hurdles…qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary for the first time, finishing 27th…his fifth-place ACC Championship finish helped the Noles to the team title…qualified for the ACC finals with a PB (52.15)…was runner-up at Longhorn Invitational as he cracked 53 seconds (52.33) for the first time…also second at FSU Relays (53.06)…did not compete during the indoor season.

2014:

Competed in six outdoor meets, making significant gains in the 400 hurdles…season-best and then PB (54.01) came at FSU Twilight in fifth-place finish…saw 400-meter dash action at a pair of indoor meets.

2013:

Raced in six meets, focusing solely on the 400 hurdles after training through the indoor season coming out of football…registered his season-best at Florida Relays (54.14)…placed 13th in his ACC Championships debut with his second-best time (54.65).

Personal:

Outstanding student from Katy, Texas who will earn his degree in electrical engineering.
