After arriving at FSU in January of 2016 has sat out indoor, outdoor and cross country seasons as a redshirt…hopes to crack lineup in 5000 this year, laying base for cross country season.
Before FSU:
Native Bahamian arrives as a January transfer from Allen County (Kan.) Community College, where he earned 2015 NJCAA Indoor All-American honors…set Bahamas junior national record in the 5000m in 2015…was also the 2015 Bahamas senior national champion in the 5000m…claimed 2014 Carifta Games silver medal in the 1500…won three consecutive Bahamas junior national 1500 titles (2012-14).
Personal:
Outstanding student who earned All-Bahamian Scholar Athlete honors…a four-year member of the honor roll at Bishop Michael Eldon School, where he graduated with highest honors…was also active in club swimming…son of Andrea Najman…majoring in psychology…born May 9, 1997.
