PERFORMANCE RESULTS

Fifth-year senior from Jamaica has emerged as a potential NCAA Championships qualifier in the discus…came to FSU as a transfer from Minnesota in 2014…owns the No. 4 discus mark in program history and also ranks No. 10 indoors in the shot put.

2016:

Qualified for his second consecutive NCAA East Preliminary meet in the discus on the strength of his personal-best 56.52m (185-5) mark for the win at the UNF Twilight…followed up a week later with a seventh-place finish at the ACC Championships…saw action in only five outdoor meets…missed the indoor season due to injury.

2015:

Competed in seven meets during his first outdoor season with the Noles, qualifying for the NCAA East Preliminary in both the shot put and discus…helped the Noles to the ACC title with his fourth-place finish in the discus with a season-best 55.51m (182-1)…enjoyed some early-season success when he posted a shot put PB at the Florida Relays (17.93m/58-10)…made his FSU debut indoors, competing in five meets exclusively in the shot put…his season-best effort (17.55m/57-7) came at the Rod McCravy Memorial.

BEFORE FSU:

Competed in eight 2014 outdoor meets for Minnesota, qualifying for the NCAA West Preliminary in the shot put…SB 17.56m (57-7.5) came at Big Ten Championships…also had a SB discus mark of 51.62m (169-4) at the Hamline Invitational…competed seven times during the indoor season with his SB shot put coming at Big Ten Championships (17.12m/56-2)…In 2013, competed in only two meets outdoors as a freshman at Minnesota  before he was shut down due to injury…saw action in six indoor meets as a freshman and advanced to the shot put finals in the Big Ten Championships, where he placed ninth…season-best shot put (17.63m/57-10.25) came at Snowshoe Open.
