Since that moment, Griggs has been phenomenal as she was a three-time All-Ohio honoree and a three-time all-district honoree. Griggs was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Ohio following the 2025 season. Griggs was one of 20 players in the 2025 class to play in the PGF Futures All-American Game where she was named the MVP following her performance. Griggs is also a standout basketball player for Perrysburg and has earned all-district honors twice. Griggs was ranked No. 6 overall in the 2025 class and was ranked No. 2 at her position by Softball America. Off the field, Griggs has earned high honor roll in all four years of high school. She plans to major in business upon arriving in Tallahassee. She is the daughter of Lindsay Dwornik and Cory Griggs and has two sisters, Kylie Griggs and Torrie Purcell. Kylie was a four-year start for Pitt softball from 2022-25.
