Played in 56 games and made 49 starts...Hit .284 with 27 RBI...Recorded a double, scored two runs and drew one walk across three games in the JoAnne Graf Classic (2/6-8)... Hit an RBI single to secure a victory over Louisiana (2/17)... Managed two hits, both doubles, across the Dugout Club Classic and stole a base in a pinch-running appearance against Elon (2/20-22)... Notched one hit, plated one run and stole a base against FAMU (2/25)... Managed two hits, both doubles, and two RBI across four games in the Unconquered Invitational (2/26-28)... Went 2-for-2 against Jacksonville, earning her first career triple, while plating two runs, driving in two runs, and stealing one base (3/4)... Posted an impressive weekend in the series at Coastal Carolina, going 4-for-4 in Friday's game and 7-for-11 overall, while driving in five runs and plating seven herself (3/6-8)... Finished her senior season with a .617 batting average, 37 hits, 26 extra-base hits, 50 RBI and 16 home runs...Her 16 home runs led the state of Florida...Was named the Palm Beach 5A-1A Player of the Year...Was selected to compete with U18 US National Team at the WBSC World Cup Finals.. Ruggiero was named to the 3A All-State First Team her freshman season before going on to be part of the SunSentinel All-County First Team throughout her high school career while also earning two USA Today HSSA Player of the Year nominations...She was also named to the 2023 Colorado Sparkler/Firework 18U All-Tournament Team and selected to the 2024 Alliance All-Star Game...Off the field, Ruggiero brings a bright personality as well as some great academic success. She was a member of the National Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society member and qualified for magna cum laude honors.
