Fourth-year member of the women’s distance program, who is building off a breakthrough 2017 outdoor track season…summer training has earned her a spot on the cross country travel roster…was the cross country winner of the Golden Torch Award last the fall for posting the highest GPA.
2017-18
Cross Country: Emerged as a top-five team scorer at the ACC Championships and NCAA South Region Championships…established new personal best performances in each of her six competitions after opening season with a monster 5k PB on home course (18:59.0) at the Big Bend Invitational, which she lowered a month later to 18:24.5 at the FSU Invitational…was the No. 5 finisher for the Noles at the ACC Championships with a 6k 22:03.1 effort…was even better two weeks later at the South Region meet, posting a personal-best 21:12.1 for 46th overall. Indoor: Did not compete. Outdoor: Lowered PB in two 5000m efforts in the spring, including a 17:44.38 at the Tiger Track Classic…earned a spot on the ACC Championships roster for the first time, competing in the 10,000m.
2016-17
Cross Country: Did not compete due to injury. Indoors: did not compete. Outdoors: Made first appearance in uniform since the 2015 cross country season at the FAMU Relays, competing in the first of three 1500m events…lowered her time each meet, capped by PB 5:02.71 at the FSU Relays.
2015-16
Cross Country: Competed in two events, highlighted by 20:24.7 performance at the Mountain Dew Invitational…also ran at the FSU Invitational. Indoors & Outdoors: did not compete.
2014-2015
Outdoor: Joined the program for the track & field season…lined up in the 800 at both the FSU Relays and UNF Twilight, where she posted a season-best 2:27.78.
Personal:
Attended Seabreeze High in Daytona Beach where she was a member of the school record and regional championship 4×800 relay…also won her 3A region title in the 800 as a senior in PB 2:21.67…also competed in two seasons of cross country, advancing to the state championship meet as a senior with her team…graduated Summa Cum Laude in high school and a member of the National Honor Society…on the President’s List at FSU…majoring in finance and business…born May 1, 1996.
