Was selected for the NCAA Championships by swimming in the 200 and 400 free relays…swam her best races at the Last Chance Bulldog Invite in the 50 and 100 free…placed fourth in the 100 free with a career best of 50.49 and fifth in the 50 free with a time of 22.78…placed fifth in the 100 free at the Georgia Tech Invite with a time of 50.82…also swam in the B final of the 50 and 200 free events.

Hoffman has been rated the 20th best female recruit in Florida by collegeswimming.com…crowned the 2009 2-A Florida State Champion in the 50 free with the time of 23.52 and took fifth in the 100 free at 52.27…competed in the same Championship Final as teammates Kaitlyn Dressel and Katie Cook in both the 50 and 100 freestyle events…holds the Nease High School records in the 50 and 100 free…also a Junior National Qualifier in the sprint events…trains under coach Jason Calanog at The Bolles School…was a Junior National champion as a member of the 400 free relay.
