Florida State is 162-136-4 all-time against Miami, including 84-59-1 at home, 71-72-3 on the road and 7-5 at a neutral site. The two teams split a pair of games in 1951 in Miami to begin the series. The longest win streak for either team is when FSU won 12 in a row from 1966-71. The last two series have been sweeps, with the Hurricanes taking all three at home in 2023 and the Seminoles returning the favor in 2024 at Howser. The Seminoles won the series with an 11-7 victory the next day behind runs in each of the first seven innings. Williams had another two hits and Connor Hults pitched a scoreless ninth inning. A 6-4 win in the finale completed the sweep, with another two hits, two runs and one RBI for Williams. Hults got the final out to earn the save.

SCOUTING THE HURRICANES
Miami is 13-9 on the season, 10-2 at home and 2-7 on the road. The Hurricanes are coming off a 6-5 win at FAU on Tuesday night that followed a trio of losses at No. 14 Wake Forest over the weekend. Prior to Tuesday's win, the Hurricanes had lost six of their last seven.

UM has scored 172 runs on 213 hits with 26 home runs and 29 stolen bases. The Hurricanes own a 4.99 ERA with 114 runs allowed, 233 strikeouts and 82 walks in 189.1 innings.

LAST TIME OUT: MIDWEEK DEFEAT
