Noles Welcome Virginia on Sunday at 2 PM

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida State women's basketball team (5-10, 0-3 ACC) will welcome Virginia (11-3, 3-0 ACC) on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
The Cavaliers hold the series lead, 36-23, however the Seminoles have won seven of the last eight games.
Florida State is one of nine programs nationally to have six players averaging at least 9.0 points per game, led by Sole Williams at 15.2 points per game. Williams is coming off a 21-point performance at Syracuse, marking her third 20-point game this season.
Emma Risch leads the ACC in three-point percentage at 44.6 after converting 4-of-8 against the Orange. She has 29 threes made this season, along with Williams as the Seminoles rank third in the league with 8.6 made per game.
The game will air on the ACC Network with Mark Neely and Angel Gray on the call. The Seminole Sport Network will air on 96.5 The Spear and on the Sirius XM app. The game is tabbed as the FSU Kids Club game.
The Last Time Out
Despite trailing by 13 points in the fourth quarter, the Seminoles made a late push to pull within two at Syracuse on Thursday. FSU fell 82-72.
Florida State had four players in double digits, led by Williams with 21 points. Risch contributed 15, Allie Kubek posted 12 and Jasmine Shavers added 10.
The Seminoles won the turnover battle, forcing 20, including tying a season high of 16 steals. Shavers tied her career high with five, while Kubek set a new best at four.
FSU made 11 three-pointers, marking the fifth game this season sinking 10 or more.
