Broke the school record with a .436 batting average and had the third-most hits in school history with 95...Scored the fifth-most runs in school history with 70...Finished the season with nine home runs and 45 RBI...Had just nine errors on 197 chances...Had nine hits, three runs, two stolen bases on two attempts, and one RBI over the course of the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge (2/6-2/8)... Recorded three home runs, seven RBIs, seven runs, and nine hits throughout the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational (2/13-2/16)... Recorded 12 out assists and two putouts, as well as three RBIs, four runs, and nine hits during the JoAnne Graf Classic (2/21-2/22)... Recorded two home runs, ten runs scored, eight RBIs, and seven hits over the duration of the Dugout Club Classic (2/27-3/1)... Contributed three hits, one run, one RBI, and one stolen base against Jacksonville and North Florida (3/5)... Had three hits, one RBI, and one run throughout the Jane Sanders Classic (3/7-3/9)... Freshman (2024)
Started in 61 out of the Seminoles' 62 games as FSU's starting shortstop...Finished the season with a .356 batting average which was third on the team....Hit nine home runs while driving in 57 runs...Batted .467 (7-15) over opening weekend for the Seminoles which included three RBI's, two doubles, and a walk off-single against Texas Tech (2/10/24) while also scoring five runs and picking up a stolen base...Recorded five hits over the weekend for the Noles at the Shriners Clearwater Invitational including five runs scored, two RBI and a home run against No. 4 Georgia...Had six hits, including two doubles and two RBI for the Noles in the Dugout Club Classic...Hit a three-run home run against Purdue (3/8/24) and went 2-for-3 driving in two runs against FGCU (3/10/24) in both Seminole victories at the FGCU Spring Break Classic...Hit an RBI-double in the Noles' 4-2 win against No. 4 Duke (3/16/24)....Had three hits, including her first walk-off home run in the Seminoles victory over NC State (3/28/24)...Went 3-for-4 with two doubles and scored a run in the Seminoles victory at Louisville (4/6/24)...Went 3-for-4 with an RBI in victory against Notre Dame (4/13/24) ...Went 3-for-4 with four RBI including a double and a home run in the win vs. Alabama State...Combined for five hits, including six RBI in the Noles' sweep against Boston College...Hit a three-run home run in the victory over No. 12 Florida (4/24/24)...Scored two runs and hit a three-run home run in the victory over North Carolina (4/26/24)...Had a single, two walks, and an RBI against No. 9 Florida (5/1/24)...Scored two runs, and had two hits including a grand slam in the Noles' ACC Tournament semifinal victory over Georgia Tech (5/11/24)...Picked up a hit and a RBI in the first game of the Tallahassee Regional against Chattanooga (5/17/24)..Hit the game-sealing three-run home run in the Tallahassee Regional Final against Auburn (5/19/24).
Prior to FSU:
Torres was ranked ninth by Extra Innings Softball in the 2023 class rankings…she is a two-time PGF All-American (2021-22) and was a 2021 PGF National Champion and a 2022 IDT National Champion…in 2023 she earned a .577 batting average with 68 runs on 79 hits...in 2022 she was named the All-Central Texas Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the Texas State All-Tournament Team…in 2021 Torres was named to the 5A All-State Team and was named the All-District Offensive Player of the Year…she was named Academic All-District her first three years of high school.
