WHY I WEAR MY NUMBER
Jesse Jones – I wear No. 43 at Florida State because numbers in the 40s are very important to the members of the famed Green Team at Florida State.
Jesse Jones is the 11th player in school history to wear uniform No. 43. All-American Dave Fodor wore the number during his three-year career as a Seminole. He averaged over 20 points per game as both a junior and senior. And his 43 points against Miami on February 27, 1960, is the third-highest one-game total in school history. He averaged over 20 points per game as both a junior and senior.

WHAT'S IN A NAME
Jesse Jones – My full name is Jesse Carl-David Jones. All of my siblings’ names begin with a J and Jesse is a name that my parents liked. My sister’s names are Jazleana and Journey. Carl is my grandmother’s brother’s name and David is my Dad’s name.

HOMETOWN
My hometown of Clermont in Central Florida boasts great lakes and trails with warm weather which are all ideal for outdoor recreation. Its hills and sunsets create a great atmosphere and it’s only 30 minutes from Orlando.
