WHY I WEAR MY NUMBER
I wear No. 9 at Florida State because this was the number I wore when I played my first game with the Greek U15 National Team in 2021.
Anastasios Rozakeas is the fourth player in school history to wear uniform No. 9 with all three – Bill Kratzert (1848-49), Bill Falzone (1949), and Bob Kersey (1950) – wearing the number in the first three seasons of the program. Following a rule change to begin the 2023–24 season, the NCAA once again began allowing college basketball players to wear numbers 0–99 on their jerseys, including numbers 0 and 00. Previously, the NCAA had restricted two-digit jersey numbers that started with 6, 7, 8, and 9.
