A member of Florida State’s 2023 and 2024 NCAA Championships team…helped the Seminoles advance to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Championships twice, Quarterfinals and Semifinals of ACC Championships…qualified for the 2024 NCAA Doubles Championships with Vic Allen...totaled 51 wins in her two spring seasons...made All-ACC Second Team in Doubles with Vic Allen in 2024...named ACC Doubles Team of the Week on March 26th, 2024 with Vic Allen...earned ACC Freshman of the week honors February 28th, 2023…finished the season ranked No. 70 in the national doubles rankings in 2023 (with Anna Arkadianou)...has earned Academic Dean's List honors (spring 2023)...selected to ACC Academic Honor Roll (2023)...made All-ACC Academic Team (2023)....named an ITA Scholar athlete in 2024...selected to ACC Academic Honor Roll (2024)... received All-ACC Academic Honors in 2024.
SPRING 2025
Bissett began the spring earning five straight victories in doubles with partner Laura Putz, including a win over the No. 65-ranked pair from UCF...Began ACC singles earning a straight-sets win at Boston College...Clinched the match with a Court 4 victory over No. 50 Miami...Helped to clinch the doubles point against No. 12 NC State...defeated the No. 68-ranked Anna Zyryanova of NC State in a straight-sets victory on Court 2...Defeated the No. 78-ranked pair from Wake Forest with partner Tina Li to help lead the Noles to a 4-1 victory...ranked as high as 62nd with partner Laura Putz in the ITA doubles rankings.
FALL 2024
She began her fall 2024 season with three doubles victories at the ITA All-American Championships with partner Maria Juliana Parra Romero...The duo defeated the No. 51 pair of Anet Koskel and Grace O'Donnell from Arkansas...later defeated Lindsay Zink and Susanna Maltby of North Carolina in the qualifying round of 16, helping the pair advance into the main draw play...They secured their third tournament win with a 7-6 (6), 0-6, 1-0 (7) win over No. 23 Elza Tomase and Catherine Aulia of Tennessee...The duo secured two victories at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships in doubles and advanced to the quarterfinals in the doubles main draw. The pair won 8-1 over Sofia Madrid and Ema Barianakova of Kennesaw State in the doubles main draw round of 32 and 8-1 over Anja Draskovic and Oyinlomo Quandre of FIU in the round of 16...She also earned two singles victories at the event...Concluded her 2024 fall season with 6-2, 6-3 win with doubles partner Juliana Parra Romero over Laia Giralt and Manuela of Siena College in the consolation round of 16 at the ITA Conference Masters Championships.
SPRING 2024
Totaled 30 wins in the 2024 spring season (17 wins in doubles and 13 wins in singles)….named ACC Doubles Team of the Week on March 26th with Vic Allen…qualified for the 2024 NCAA Doubles Championships with Vic Allen...earned All-ACC Second Team in Doubles with Vic Allen... secured five ranked doubles wins and two ranked singles wins…won six straight singles matches from March 24th to April 12th...won seven consecutive doubles matches with Vic Allen from March 5th to April 5th...defeated No. 34 Taisiya Pachkaleva and Sabina Zeynalova of Texas 6-3, 6-4 in the round of 32 with Vic Allen in the NCAA doubles championships…won 7-5 over No. 8 Melodie Collard and Elaine Chervinsky of No. 4 Virginia with Vic Allen …secured a 6-4 win over No. 14 and future NCAA Doubles national champions Aysegul Mert and Dasha Vidmanov of No. 7 Georgia with Vic Allen in the second round of the NCAA Tournament …won 6-1 over No. 29 Isabella Pfennig and Xinyi Nong of No. 20 Miami with Vic Allen to secure the doubles point, 4-1 team victory, and advance to the semifinals of the ACC Championships..helped the Seminoles secure the doubles point and team victory with a 7-6 (3) win over No. 12 Kate Sharabura and Carol Lee of No. 24 Georgia Tech…defeated No. 83 Catherine Aulia of No. 20 Tennessee in singles 7-6 (5), 2-6, 6-1… win a thriller over No. 124 Anastasia Sysoeva of No. 47 Syracuse 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (2).

Ranked No. 16 in the final ITA Doubles rankings with Vic Allen..ranked as high as No. 16 nationally in doubles in the spring...was ranked six consecutive weeks in doubles with Vic Allen No. 29 (Apr 2), No. 30 (April 9), No. 27 (April 16), No. 19 (April 23), No. 17 (May 2), and No. 16 (May 29)...ranked No. 34 in the ITA Preseason Doubles Rankings with Anna Arkadinaou...ranked No. 43 in the ITA Doubles Rankings on November 15th with Vic Allen.

SPRING 2023
Finished the spring season with an 8-4 singles record and 13-7 doubles record…earned ACC Freshman of the week after defeating Ines Fonte of Syracuse (5-7, 6-2, 6-3) at No. 6 singles and Stephanie Sanchez (6-1, 6-3) of Boston College at No. 5 along with a (6-3) doubles victory against Viktor Kanapatskaya and Ines Fonte of Syracuse and a (6-4) win against Hailey Wilcox and Seren Agar of Boston College with Anna Arkadianou….defeated the 9th-ranked Amelia Rajecki and Nell Miller of NC State (6-4) with Arkadianou at No. 2 doubles…Bissett and Arkadianou won five of six matches in a stretch where Florida State defeated three top-25 opponents…won (7-5, 1-6, 6-4) against Violeta Martinez of Illinois at No. 5 singles to help Florida State advance to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Championships…defeated Rosie Garcia Gross (6-3, 7-5) at No. 5 singles to help the Seminoles defeat No. 20 Georgia Tech 4-3…earned a (6-2, 6-1) victory against Akari Matsuno of 23rd-ranked Notre Dame in a 4-1 team win.

Ranked No. 70 in the final ITA doubles rankings of the 2022-23 season with Anna Arkadianou…together they earned eight wins at No. 2 doubles and were ranked as high as No. 49 nationally…ranked for seven straight weeks No. 49 (March 21), No. 66 (April 4), No. 55 (April 11), No. 56 (April 18), No. 52 (April 25), No. 55 (May 4), No. 70 (May 31).FALL 2022
Made her Florida State debut with a 2-2 record (2-0 in singles and 0-2 in doubles) at the Four in The Fall Tournament at the University of Alabama…earned her first career singles collegiate victory with a 7-6 (6), 6-1 win over Luminita Tutunara of South Alabama on the first day of the Four in the Fall Tournament…defeated Klara Milicevic of Alabama in singles, 6-3, 6-1, on the second day of the Four in the Fall Tournament…won twice in doubles play as she teamed with Anna Arkadianou to defeat Anna Parkhomenko and Klara Milicevic of Alabama (6-4) along with Maggie White and Sydney Clark of UAB (7-5) in doubles play…earned a 1-1 record at the ITA Southeast Regional Championship in Atlanta…played two matches of doubles as she teamed with Kristyna to gain an 8-7 (1) win over Kamila Umarova and Ekaterina Khairutdinova of Florida Atlantic…totaled three wins and a 3-3 record at the San Juan Invitational…was 1-1 in singles play with a win over Nichole Hammond of Michigan (6-2, 4-3, default) and 2-2 in doubles played in San Juan…earned doubles victories over Anastasia Astakhova of Auburn and Charmaine Seah of Wisconsin (6-4) and Kaitlyn Carnicella and Anastasia Astakhova of Auburn (6-3) in San Juan…totaled a 5-1 record in both singles (3-0) and doubles (2-1) at the UNF Invitational…gained single victories over Lucia Petruzelova of UNC Charlotte (6-4, 3-6 (10-7), Siera Berry of USF (6-1, 6-3) and Isabel Oliveria of UCF (6-3, 6-3)…doubles victories came with partner Olympe Lancelot over Minorka Miranda and Marta Perez Mur of Maryland (7-5) and Laura Pellicer and Ireland Simme of USF (7-6)…

A member of the No. 7 overall recruiting class – and the top recruiting class in the ACC – according to the Tennis Recruiting Network… highest junior world ranking is 66…trained at the Bath Tennis Academy in Great Britain for nine years…has represented Great Britain since she was 12…played for Great Britain in the U16 European Championships and the U16 Summer Cup…played in the Junior Wimbledon Tournament in 2018, 2019 and 2021…the champion in singles of the 2020 Progress Tour played at England’s National Tennis Centre and…won the U18 Youth National Singles title in Nottingham in 2020..has won 9 international doubles titles and 2 international singles titles with her most recent coming in Portugal in 2020…represented Great Britain in the U14 European Winter Cup in Hungary in 2017…helped lead GB to a fourth place finish in the Winter Cup in 2017…also played in the Nike Junior International Tournament – the unofficial World Championships for the U14 age group, also in 2017…won three of her five preliminary matches in the U14 European Summer Cup to lead GB to the finals of the tournament…won her first ITF singles championship as she defeated No. 1 seed Ekatrina Shalimova of Russia at the 2017 Dunlap Junior Cup in Finland...Graduated from the Ralph Allen School in 2019…following graduation, she moved her studies on-line in order to study for her Advanced Level exams in psychology and French…made the decision to move online after moving to London to further her tennis training as it was more flexible for her training…studied for her A Levels at National Extension College (NEC)…graduated from NEC in August of 2021.

Born May 25, 2003…Amelia is the daughter of Liz and Tim Bissett…has two older brothers…Will played tennis at East Carolina (2016-19)…he won 57 combined matches (single and doubles) during his four year career at ECU…George is a captain in the Royal Engineers as a member of the Army in the United Kingdom…began playing tennis at age four…has trained at Junior Tennis Coaching (JTC) in London since January of 2021 and plans to continue to train there during trips back home during her collegiate career…plans to play professional tennis following her collegiate career…also interested in interior design and real estate…major is Business Administration.
