SOPHOMORE (2018):

Hit .212 with 14 of his 24 hits going for extra bases…finished with a career-high eight doubles and six home runs, all coming before April 10…hit FSU’s first grand slam of the season, breaking a 4-4 tie with North Carolina in the rubber match in Chapel Hill…knocked in 24 runs and scored 30…made 38 starts over 50 appearances…had 32 starts at second base and six as the designated hitter…was hit by 10 pitches and drew 21 walks…hit FSU’s first home run of the season on Opening Day against Xavier…set a career high with four RBI twice, including against North Carolina (3/25)…played summer ball in the Cape Cod League with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks.

FRESHMAN (2017):

Appeared in 50 games in the season, and started 32 of them…ended the season with a .401 on-base percentage, 31 runs, and 17 RBI…went 5-for-8 with a double and three runs scored during his first weekend as a Seminole against VCU…on March 11 against Boston College, he was hit by a pitch three times, tying an FSU single-game record only done three times prior…smacked the first home run of his career on March 21 against Jacksonville, helping Florida State out of an early 7-0 deficit…pulled off a double steal alongside J.C. Flowers on April 25 against Stetson, and his steal of home was one of his six stolen bases of the season…played for the Newport Gulls in the New England Collegiate Baseball League for the summer in which he appeared in 20 games and drew 11 walks.

HIGH SCHOOL:

Graduated from Sarasota High School in Sarasota, Fla….committed to FSU as a freshman at Geneva High School and then transferred to IMG Academy before playing his senior year of baseball for Sarasota…drafted in the 33rd round of the 2016 MLB First Year Player Draft by the Cincinnati Reds…named to the Florida All-Region First Team…garnered 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game honorable mention All-American accolades…appointed to the 2015 Underclass Second Team in 2015…ranked the sixth-best shortstop in his 2016 class by Perfect Game…hit .405 with 31 stolen bases his senior year.
