Appeared in 29 games, making four starts (two DH, two in outfield)…hit .182 with three RBI, five runs scored, nine walks and stole two bases…had a bases-loaded walk on Opening Day vs. Xavier (2/16)…had two RBI, a walk and a single at No. 9 Clemson (5/6)…did not commit an error in the field…played summer ball for the Santa Barbara Foresters of the California Collegiate League.
BEFORE FSU/PERSONAL:
A transfer from Polk State College in Lakeland, Frey hit .340 with 37 runs batted in, a .420 on-base percentage and 32 stolen bases for the Eagles. team MVP while also earning first team All-Conference honors…Before Polk State, played at Sarasota High School, helping lead Sarasota to a state runner-up in 2015…majoring in psychology.
