Junior Season (2023)


Outdoor:

  • June 7-10 – NCAA Finals – Finished 12th in the semifinals of the 100m in a time of 10.07 earning second team All-America honors, was 13th in the 200m semifinals with a time of 20.29 earning second team All-America honors, earned first team All-America honors as a member of FSU’s 4th place 4×100 relay team
  • May 24-27 – NCAA East First Round – Qualified for NCAA Finals in the 100m finishing 9th in a season-best 9.99 and the 200m in season-best 20.05
  • May 11-13 – ACC Outdoor Championship –  ACC Champion in the 100m with a time of 10.08, 3rd in the 200m in 20.41
  • April 28-29 – Texas Invitational (Austin) – Won the 200m in a time of 20.35; Part of 4×100 Relay team that finished first in 38.88
  • April 22 – LSU Alumni Gold – Placed second in the 200m with a time of 20.30
  • April 14-15 — Tom Jones Invite (Gainesville, FL) – Raced to a third place finish in the 100 m in 10.08
  • March 31-1 – Pepsi Relays (Gainesville, FL) – Finished 7th in the 400 meters with a time of 46.49

Indoor:

Placed seventh in the 200m dash (20.48) at the NCAA Indoor Championship…Finished third in the 60m dash (6.61) and second in the 200m dash (20.51) at the ACC Indoor Championship… Placed sixth in the 60m dash (6.65) and finished third in the 200m dash (20.77) at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational…Finished first in the 4×400 relay (3:08.26) at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational…Finished second in the 200m (21.23) at the Vanderbilt Invitational…Finished fifth for a personal best in the 60m dash (6.63) and second in the 4×400 relay (46.018, 3:05.82) at the Clemson Invitational.

2022

Outdoor: Earned Second-Team All-America honors with the 4x100m relay at the NCAA Outdoor Championships…Helped the 4x100m relay to the top regional time (38.51) and ran a 20.91 at the NCAA East Preliminary…Finished third in both the 100m dash (10.22) and the 200m dash (20.50) at the ACC Championships and also helped the 4x100m relay (38.93) to a second-place finish…Finished ninth in the 100m dash with a time of 10.28 (2.1) clocked a 21.14 in the 200m dash at the UNF Invitational…Finished twelfth in the 100m with a personal best time of 10.20 and ran the second leg of the 4×100 relay team (38.88) at the Tom Jones Invitational…Finished second in the 200m dash (20.81) and ran the second leg of the winning 4x100m relay team (39.26) at the South Florida Invitational…Competed for 11th place in 200m (20.77), making it a new FSU best at the Florida Relays…Ran a personal best time of 10.21 at the FSU Relays…Named the ACC Men’s Co-Track Performer of the Week on Mar. 22…Competed for third in the 100m (10.25) at the Hurricane Invitational.

Indoor: Willis was named First and Second Team All-ACC…placed second in the 200m (21.05) and competed for fifth in the 60m (6.70) at the ACC Indoor Championships…Finished fourth in the 60m dash qualifying with a time of 6.73 at the Tyson Invitational… Placed fifth in the 200m dash (20.98) at the Texas Tech Invite.

2020 Indoor (Akron)


Garnered first-team All-Mid-American Conference accolades running on winning 4×400 relay that posted the second-fastest indoor MAC Indoor Championship (Feb. 29) time, 3:07.89, since 1996, just shy of MAC Championship indoor record of 3:07.58 set by Akron in 2016…earned second-team all-league honors with a runner-up finish in the 60 meters in a time of 6.81 at the MAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 29), while placing fifth in the 200 meters in 21.38…competed in six meets on the campaign…posted a career-best time of 6.80 in the 60 meters to win the event at the Doug Raymond Invitational (Feb. 15), before matching time in the preliminary round of the MAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 29)…recorded a season- and career-best time of 48.39 to finish third in the 400 meters at the Akron Invitational (Feb. 8)…garnered a season- and career-best time of 21.25 in the preliminary round of the 200 meters at the MAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 28)…posted times of 6.85, 49.11 and 21.52 to finish second, second and third, respectively, in the 60, 400 and 200 meters, at the Akron-Central Michigan Dual (Jan. 17), Akron-Kent State Dual (Jan. 24) and Doug Raymond Invitational (Feb. 21).

 
 

2019 Outdoor (Akron)

Competed in five meets for the Zips, including running on the winning 4×100 relay team in a season-best time of 40.39 at the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Championships (May 11), while also placing sixth in the 200 meters in a time of 21.59…registered a trio of top-10 efforts in the 200 meters, including recording a season-best time of 21.25 to finish seventh at the Beach Invitational (April 20)…won the 400 meters at the Northeast Ohio Quad (April 5) in a season-low time of 48.96…posted a season-best time of 10.57 in the 100 meters at the Beach Invitational (April 20), while running a time of 10.83 to place seventh at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate (April 18)…member of 4×1004×200 and 4×400 relay teams at the Texas Relays (March 29-30).

 

2019 Indoor (Akron)

Competed in five meets for the Zips, including placing sixth in the 200 meters with a time of 21.64 at the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships (Feb. 23)…member of third-place 4×400 relay squad at the MAC Championships (Feb. 23)…won the 400 meters at the Doug Raymond Invitational (Feb. 9) and Akron-Kent State Dual (Jan. 25) crossing the line in 48.60 and 48.69…recorded a season-best time of 21.50 in the 200 meters to finish third at the Doug Raymond Invitational (Feb. 9)…member of winning 4×400 relay team at the Akron Invitational (Feb. 2).
