Outdoor:

  • May 24-27 – NCAA East Regional (Jacksonville, FL)  –  Placed 15th in the 400m quarterfinals with a time of 47.13, qualified for NCAA Finals as a member of the 4×100 relay team
  • May 11-13 – ACC Outdoor Championship – Second Team All-ACC with a sixth place finish in the 400 meters
  • April 28-29 – Texas Invitational (Austin) – Finished fifth in the 400m in a time of 46.54
  • March 31-1 – Pepsi Relays (Gainesville, FL) –   Timed at 1:58.43  for 51st place in the 800m
  • March 23-24 — FSU Relays – Member of 4×400 relay team that placed third with a time of 3:14.21; finished 11th in the 800m clocking in at 1:59.55
 
  • Indoor: Finished second in the 400m dash (47.54) helped the team finish third in the 4×400 relay (3:09.14) at the ACC Indoor Championship…Placed seventh in the 400m dash (46.56) at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational…Finished first in the 4x400m relay (3:08.26) at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational…Finished second in the 400m (47.13) at the Vanderbilt Invitational…Placed sixth for a personal best in the 600m run (1:19.52) and second in the 4x400m relay (47.025, 3:05.82) at the Clemson Invitational.
 
2022

Outdoor: Ran the final leg of the 4x400m relay that finished 16th (3:04.70) to earn Second-Team All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships…Helped the 4x400m relay (3:05.33) qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships and finished 13th in the 400m dash (46.12) at the NCAA East Preliminary…Won the ACC title in the 400m dash with a personal best time of 45.55 and helped the 4x400m relay team (3:05.83) to a second-place finish at the ACC Championships…Ran a 47.58 in the 400m dash at the UNF Invitational…Finished fourth in the 400m with a time of 45.53 and ran the fourth leg of the 4×400 relay team that finished ninth (3:04.74) at the Tom Jones Invitational…Finished second in the 400m dash (46.81) at the South Florida Invitational…Earned eighth in 200m (21.76) and second in the 4×400 relay (3:15.81) at the Florida State Relays…Placed sixth in 200m (21.16) at the Hurricane Invitational

Indoor: Butler was named First Team All-ACC…earned second place in the 400m (46.65) at the ACC Indoor Championships…Finished eleventh in the 400m dash with a season best 46.80 at the Tyson Invitational… Finished fourth overall in the 400m dash (46.96) at the Texas Tech Open…Ran the final leg on the 4x400m relay team which finished fourth at the Clemson Invite with a time of 3:13.69Competed at the Clemson Opener and helped the 4x400m relay team finish first with a time of 3:09.71.

2021

Outdoor: Began his outdoor season at FSU Relays finishing fourth in the 400 (46.58) and third as part of the 4×400…at the Pepsi Florida Relays he finished fourth in the 400 (45.89) and ninth in the 4×400 (3:09.00)…earned a personal-best time in the 200 (21.55(0.8)) at the UF Tom Jones Invitational and contributed in the 4×400 third place finish (3:04.29)…at the North Florida Invite he finished third in the 400 after recording a new PB (45.65)…runner-up in the 400 (45.83) at the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships…qualified for the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round finishing 17th in the 400 (46.73).

Indoor: Opened his Junior season at the Gamecock Opener finishing third in the 400 (47.84)…earned a new personal-best in the 60-meter dash (7.02( at the Bob Pollock Indoor Invitational…fifth at the Tyson Invitational in the 400 (46.89)…competed in two events at the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships finishing fifth in the 400 (46.79) and fifth in the 4×400 (3:11.21).

2020
Indoor: For the second consecutive year was at his best in the season-finale…helped the Noles to their third consecutive ACC Championship with a pair of silver medals…ran a personal-best 46.30 in the 400-meter final – No. 3 all-time among Noles, ahead of three Olympians – to finish second for the second consecutive season, narrowly missing an NCAA qualifying spot…followed up with a strong 4×400 leg as the Noles placed second in 3:07.53, which ranks 10th-fastest program history…got off to a slow start, but flashed ACC Championship form when he ran 47.27 to place 10th against a loaded field at the Tiger Paw Invitational.

2018-19

Indoor: Improved throughout his first season of indoor competition, while competing primarily in the 400 and 200…saw action in four meets…made his mark at the ACC Indoor Championships when he qualified second for the finals of the 400 and delivered a silver medal finish in the final, running 46.87, which ranks No. 6 all-time at FSU…led off the winning 4×400 (3:10.61) as the Noles claimed a share of the conference team title at Virginia Tech. Outdoor: Competed in seven meets, despite battling through some late-season injuries…recorded collegiate-best 21.63 200 at the Crimson Tide Invitational…came back two weeks later and ran a new 400-meter personal-best (46.29) to place eighth at the Tom Jones Memorial…finished eighth in the 400 at the ACC Outdoor Championships, jogging the final after suffering an injury…advanced to the second round at the NCAA East Preliminary when he ran 46.58 but was forced to shut it down in the final by injury.

PERSONAL:

Ranked No. 10 in the nation in the 400 after taking down top-ranked Jamal Walton in the Florida 4A state finals for the title in a prep personal-best time of 46.55…ran also finished fifth in the 200 in PB 21.31…owned the top triple jump mark in the state (14.80m nwi/48-6.75) set at district meet…was third at 2017 4A state meet in 400…was 2017 AAU National Club Championship finalist in 400m…outstanding student who was a member of National Honor Society…plans to major in computer science…son of Lashelle Oliver…born May 10, 1999.
