Bio:
Fifth-year member of the squad who is hopeful of returning from injury which cost her both the indoor and outdoor 2019 seasons…owns pole vault personal-bests of 3.77 meters (12-4.5) outdoors and 3.55m (11-7.75) indoors…last competed at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational in January of 2018…a hard-working walk-on who excels academically and is a four-year member of the ACC Honor Roll as an exercise physiology major.
2019
Indoor and Outdoor: Sat out both seasons as a medical redshirt while rehabbing from surgery.
2018
Indoor: Competed in only two meets…highlight came in what turned out to be her final competition of the season as she posted a new indoor PB of 3.55 (11-7.75) to finish seventh at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational. Outdoor: Missed entire outdoor campaign with injury which required surgery.
2017
Indoor: Made her FSU debut with a pair of competitions at Clemson…posted season-best mark of 3.35 meters (10-11.75) at the Bob Pollock Invitational, which also eclipsed her outdoor personal-best from high school. Outdoor: Saw action in five meets during her first outdoor season…finished third at the FSU Relays, soaring 3.68 meters (12-0.75); her first time over the 12-foot barrier…established new PB at the Seminole Twilight (3.77m/12-4.5) in a second-place finish which earned her a trip to the ACC Championships.
2016:
Sat out the indoor and outdoor seasons as a redshirt, first-year Seminole.
Personal:
A four-year member of the Wharton High track & field program, where she competed in the pole vault and the 400-meter dash…also ran two years of cross country and competed on the golf team…won her 4A region title in the pole vault as a senior, matching her PB of 3.20 meters (10-6)…finished sixth at the 2015 4A state meet…outstanding student who was a member of the National Honor Society…also a member of the Beta Club and vice president of Friends, Inc…daughter of Ron and Treena Lewis…pursuing her degree in exercise physiology at FSU…born April 29, 1997.
