Enters junior season as one of the top high jumpers in Florida State history…is the Seminoles school record-holder indoor (1.88m/6-2)…owns a pair of ACC titles and is a four-time, first-team All-ACC performer and two-time All-American…an outstanding student who is a three-time All-ACC Academic and two-time USTFCCCA All-Academic selection.
2018
Indoor: Competed in three meets…scored her first victory at the Alex Wilson Invitational…followed with a third-place finish at the ACC Indoor Championships with a season-best clearance of 1.75m (5-8.75), helping the Noles to the team title. Outdoor: Battling injury, was limited to two competitions…finished fourth at the Seminole Twilight…followed with a third-place finish at the ACC Outdoor Championships.
2017
Indoor: Enjoyed record-setting season after enrolling in January…won three of her first four competitions, breaking Holly Kelly’s 27-year-old FSU record with ACC Indoor Championship high jump title at 1.88m (6-2)…placed 11th at the NCAA Indoor Championships, earning second-team All-American honors…selected ACC Freshman of the Year. Outdoor: Collected three victories while competing in six meets…completed sweep of ACC Championship titles with clearance of 1.82m (5-11.5) at Georgia Tech, which ranks No. 4 on FSU’s all-time list…qualified fro the NCAA Outdoor Championships where she finished 15th for second-team All-American honors…earned All-ACC Academic honors.
Personal:
A highly decorated high jumper who won three Italian Junior National titles (2010, 2013, 2015)…two-time Italian Senior Championships silver medalist in the high jump (2015, 2016)…owns personal-best of 1.86 meters (6-1.25)… and has represented her country on multiple occasions…placed 15th at the 2014 World Junior Championships in Eugene, Ore…the daughter of Solomon and Roseline Omoregie…majoring in biological science…born May 22, 1996.
