Fourth-year member of the distance program…saw limited action during the 2017-18 cross country and track campaigns…New Jersey native who starred at West Essex Regional High.
2017-18
Cross Country: Competed only in the the opening Big Bend Invitational, where she registered a 5k personal-best (22:08.2). Indoor: Did not compete. Outdoor: Lined up twice in the spring at home, competing in the 5000 at the FSU Invitational and Seminole Twilight.
2016-17
Cross Country: Competed in a career-high two meets…ran season-best 22:47.7 at the Mountain Dew Invitational…also competed at FSU Invitational. Indoors: did not compete. Outdoors: Saw action in only one meet – Seminole Twilight – and made it count, blasting out a two-minute PB (19:48.92).
2015-16
Cross Country: Lined up for her Seminole debut and only fall race at FSU Invitational (22:31.6). Outdoor: posted 21:48.36 5000-meter PB at the Seminole Invitational.
Personal
Outstanding student who was a member of the National Honor Society’s for English, social studies and Spanish…a four-year member of the concert and marching band…captained both the indoor and outdoor track & field teams as a senior…2014 state qualifier in the 4×400 and 4×800…did not compete in cross country…grandfather Al Zyla was a three-year pitcher for the Florida State baseball team…born June 20, 1997.
