“I feel a lot more confident,” said Evans.  “I had a really good off season; I got to have a good summer, being around the guys a lot, stayed here and worked on my body and my game.  A lot of it is just confidence.  My team is looking to me to be the guy who gets us going.  I’m trying to lead by example for my team.”

“Having a lot of guys that can shoot just helps in general,” said Wilkes.  “The defense can’t key in on one person.  We have a mix of a lot of different players that can also shoot.  We’ve got a lot of really good drivers which get guys open.”
