TALLAHASSEE - The No. 17 Florida State men's tennis team returns to Cary, North Carolina, to defend its ACC Men's Tennis Championship title. The Seminoles secured the No. 6 seed for a second consecutive season and will begin in the Second Round at 6 p.m., awaiting the winner of the Georgia Tech and Louisville matchup.

FSU finished the regular season 17-7 record for a second consecutive season, marking four straight seasons with 15+ wins. The Seminoles accumulated 9 wins in the expanded conference schedule and achieved a perfect 7-0 record at home in ACC play. The team has racked up impressive victories over No. 15 Texas A&M, No. 19 Duke, and No. 22 Clemson.

The Seminoles achieved the program's first ACC title in 2024, becoming the lowest seed to win the competition as the No. 6 seed. FSU knocked off four ranked teams in four days, defeating Virginia Tech 4-1, sweeping No. 11 NC State 4-0, knocking off No. 7 Wake Forest 4-3 before completing an epic 4-3 comeback win over the reigning national champion Virginia.

Corey Craig leads the team as the No. 15 player in the nation, ranked among the five best players in the ACC. Craig has racked up a 17-5 record with 10 ranked victories throughout the campaign with seven Court 1 wins. The junior has earned six ACC wins in his debut season in the conference with a seven-match unbeaten streak coming into the championship.

Jamie Connel has enjoyed a strong senior season with a 22-9 record with wins across Courts 1 and 2. The reigning All-ACC Singles player comes in as the No. 43 ranked individual with a team-leading 14 wins this spring. Connel has won 10 matches on Court 2 with eight wins in conference play. Eight of the ten players on the team have achieved double-digit singles wins this season.

The senior pairing of Youcef Rihane and Alex Bulte enters the championship as the No. 18 duo in the nation with 10 wins this spring and 18 wins in 2024-25. The All-American duo achieved the program's highest-ever ranking at No. 3 and comes into the championship as one of the most accomplished pairings.

Joshua Dous-Karpenschif and Erik Schiessl have achieved 17 wins as one of the best Court 2 pairings in collegiate tennis, amassing a remarkable 12-3 Court 2 record and are undefeated against schools outside the top-15.

One-day tickets are priced at $15 for adults (ages 18 and older) and $10 for children ages 17 and under and non-ACC college students with a valid school ID. Admission is free for children 8 and under and ACC college students with a school ID. A full championship pass for all six days is priced at $30. All seating for the tournament is general admission. Tickets may be purchased online at https://theacc.co/25ACCtennischamptix.
