Redshirt season…played summer ball for the Winchester Royals in the Virginia Valley League where he went 0-2 with a 4.37 ERA, making seven starts and striking out 29.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated from Mosley High School in Panama City…was a two-sport athlete in high school where he also played football for four years…capped off his senior season by hitting .462 and was responsible for 30 RBI…proved to be a dominant pitcher for the Dolphins as he finished 14-0 with a 0.28 ERA…threw 75.2 innings and finished with 84 strikeouts as a senior…selected 2015 5A “Mr. Baseball” while earning 5A Player of the Year honors…named 5A First Team All-State…led Mosley High School to State Championship game twice, finishing runner-up on both occasions.
