The first ever student-athlete at Florida State to be named as a Presidential Scholar – recognized as the premier undergraduate merit scholarship at Florida State...the program invests in undergraduate students with the extraordinary potential to be the transformational leaders of their generation...the program provides four years of financial support to those students who are admitted to the Florida State University Honors Program...a member two Coastal Collegiate Sports Association League championship teams (2021 and 2022) and three NCAA Tournament teams during her career at Florida State...helped Florida State to a runner-up finish in the NCAA Championship Finals in 2022, to the NCAA semifinals in 2023 and to a tied for fifth place finish in the 2021 NCAA Championship Finals.

Graduated from St. Petersburg Collegiate High School in 2020...won the Tampa Bay Beach Bums p1440 Qualifier in 2018 with Priscilla Piantadosi-Lima…finished in first place with Jessalyn Kinlaw at the USAV Women’s Open Nationals in 2018…finished in third place with Raelyn White in the 18U Division of the USAV Junior Nationals in 2018…finished in third with Priscilla Piantadosi Lima in the 2018 Volley America Women’s Open Nationals.
PERSONAL
Born May 21, 2001...Erin is the daughter of Roni and Tom Murphy...her father played basketball at Cornell and grandfather played basketball for Florida Southern College…completed her Associate of Arts degree in Computer Engineering from St Petersburg College while in high school…graduate from Florida State with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering in 2023.
