A second-year player who earned a 17-11 record as a true freshman...a member of the Seminoles’ NCAA Tournament semifinalist team...a versatile player with earned victories with seven different players as a freshman.
AS A FRESHMAN (2023)
Totaled a 17-11 overall record while playing on courts two, three, four and five...was a perfect 7-0 on court five while playing with Chloe Charles (3-0), Makenna Wolfe (3-0) and Angeline Bergner (1-0)...was victorious in the first 10 matches of her career with a 10-0 record...totaled a 3-0 record at the Seminole Beach Bash while playing with Bergner against Coastal Carolina and Charles in victories over FIU and South Carolina...was 3-0 on the Tampa Invitational with wins over Grand Canyon (with Wolfe), against Florida Gulf Coast (with Charles) and against Tampa (with Audrey Rothman)...a 2-0 record with Wolfe against Coastal Carolina and Georgia State in the Georgia State Day of Duels and 2-0 in the March to May with Morgan Chacon with victories over Tulane and UCLA...a 4-1 record at the March to May with each of her five matches played with Chacon...a 1-2 record in the CCSA Championship Tournament...played with Audrey Koenig in a win over South Carolina and losses to LSU and TCU.

Graduated from West Forsyth in 2023...competed in both indoor and beach volleyball throughout her standout prep career... earned JVA Best of the Beach Award in 2022…placed second at 2022 BVCA Pairs 18U National Championships and 2022 AAU West Coast Junior Olympics 18U National Championships…2021 U19 USAV NTDP…placed first at 2019 AVPFirst 16U National Championships.
PERSONAL
Born November 15, 2003...Carra is the daughter of Cindy and Mark Sassack...academically talented, she was earned a spot on the Academic President’s List (2020-2022) and was named to the Academic Honor Roll with a GPA of better than 4.0 during each of her four years in high school...served as a Capstone Program Representative 2021-22…hopes to play professionally on the AVP tour and represent USA at the Olympics…major is Sport Management.
