2002 ACC Freshman of the Week (Indoor) (August 29)
ON ROTHMAN
A member of the both the indoor and beach volleyball teams at Florida State...named to the All-ACC All-Freshman team in indoor volleyball in the fall of 2022...helped lead the Seminoles to the NCAA Tournament in indoor as a freshman in the fall of 2022 and to the semifinals in beach during the spring of 2023.
AS A FRESHMAN (2023)
Earned a 5-3 record as a first-year member of the beach volleyball team...played in her eight matches with five different partners – Chloe Charles (1-0), Caitlin Moon (2-0), Carra Sassack (1-1), Maddie Trusty (0-1) and Raelyn White (1-1)...won five consecutive decisions against Tampa in the Tampa Invitational (with Sassack), against Mercer in the Georgia State Day of Duels (with Charles), against Southern Miss in the LSU Beach Bash (with White), and against Southern Miss (with Moon) and LSU (with Moon) in the Unconquered Invitational...played on courts three, four and five with the majority of her playing time coming on court four where she earned a 3-3 record.
BEFORE FLORIDA STATE
Graduated from Spain Park High School in 2022...the most decorated indoor volleyball player in school history...selected as the 2021 USA Today Girls Volleyball Player of the Year…earned a selection to the 2021 All-USA TODAY HSSA Girls Volleyball Team…guided her high school to its first state championship in 2021…her standout senior season included 709 kills, 247 digs, 71 blocks, 67 service aces and 35 assists as the Jaguars compiled a 47-4 record…named an American Volleyball Coaches Association First-Team All-American in 2021…crowned as Alabama’s Gatorade Player of the Year, Spain Park’s first winner…one of her biggest honors was being named to the American Volleyball Coaches High School All-America First Team, one of just 50 nationally on the prestigious list…a 2021 MaxPrep All-American…named the AL.com Player of the Year as a senior…First Team Under Armour All-American in 2021…accumulated 512 kills, 244 assists, and 172 digs, leading to first team honors on the All-South Metro Team as a junior…her tremendous high school career led her to competing in the AHSAA North-South All-Star Game during the summer of 2021…recorded a weighted 4.28 GPA during his high school academic career…devoted several hours to her church community, serving time on the Spain Park Ambassadors and the Spain Park Peer Helpers programs…was called a “once in a lifetime player” by her head coach Kellye Bowen.
