ON KOENIG
Is in her second season as a member of the Seminoles’ Beach volleyball team...played Indoor Volleyball for the Seminoles in both 2021 and 2022...totaled an 11-8 record as a sophomore in 2023 while playing for the Seminole Beach team...a member of Florida State’s 2023 NCAA Tournament Semifinalist team.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2023)
Played with four partners and earned an 11-8 record in her first season as a member of the Florida State Beach Volleyball team...played in courts two, three and four...totaled a 4-0 record on court four while playing with Jordan Polo....earned wins with Carra Sassack (4-5), Caitlin Godwin (1-0), Catlin Moon (2-3) and Polo (4-0)...won the first four matches of her Florida State beach career with two victories at the Tampa Invitational, one at the Georgia State Day of Duels, three at the LSU Beach Invitational and one at the East vs. West Invitational in Manhattan Beach, Calif...totaled a 2-0 record with Jordan Polo against Florida Gulf Coast and Tampa in the Tampa Invitational, a 1-0 record with Polo in the Georgia Day of Duels against Mercer, was 3-0 in the LSU Beach Invitational against Texas A&M Corpus Christi (with Sassack), against Southern Miss (with Polo) and Spring Hill College (with Godwin)...added her seventh consecutive victory with Sassack against Hawaii in the East vs. West Invitational....earned a victory with Moon in the CCSA tournament (with Moon) and played in three matches in the NCAA Tournament against FIU (loss), LSU (unfinished) and UCLA (loss).
BEFORE FLORIDA STATE
Graduated from Bishop McLaughlin High School in 2020...a standout indoor volleyball player as a prep star...top-notch outside hitter who is ranked as the 72nd overall player in the country by Prepvolleyball.com…top 25 outsider hitter nationally out of Bishop McLaughlin High School who is a 2020 Honorable Mention Under Armour All-American…dominated the Central Florida circuit, winning tournament MVP in eight of nine tournaments played in her high school career which includes the National Nike Tournament of Champions…on all four years at the varsity level, she led her squad in kills, single-season aces and single-season blocks…she had nearly 1,200 career kills and once delivered 25 kills in a match during her outstanding high school career.
