ON AMENDOLA
A fourth-year player who brings a great deal of leadership and experience to the Seminoles’ lineup…a member of three NCAA Championships teams at Florida State…helped the Seminoles advance to the Elite Eight of the 2021 NCAA Championship and to the Round of 32 in the 2020 and 2022 NCAA Championships…suffered a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot that had traveled from her leg to her lungs prior to the start of the spring season in 2022…set to be fully recovered and back on the courts for the Seminoles for the 2022-23 season.
SPRING 2023
Ended the spring season with a 13-5 singles record and a 2-0 doubles record…earned a (6-7 (2), 6-2, 6-4) win against Kida Ferrari of No. 35 Illinois to clinch the team victory and help advance the Seminoles to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament…secured a (6-4, 6-1) victory against Maria Campos of Louisville to help Florida move on to the quarterfinals to the ACC Championship…Amendola won nine out of her last ten matches that included team victories over No. 64 Virginia Tech, No. 23 Notre Dame, No. 20 Georgia Tech, and No. 37 Clemson… her (2-6, 6-4, 6-2) victory against Kate Sharabura at No. 6 singles clinched the 4-3 team victory against the 20th-ranked Georgia Tech…won (6-2, 7-6) against Erika Cheng to clinch the team victory over No. 64 Virgina Tech…came back from being down (4-5) in her second set against Jasmin Makela of North Florida in a (6-3, 7-5) win at No. 6 singles and clinching the 4-3 team victory…secured both doubles victories with Mila Saric, Mercer (6-2) at No. 3 and FAMU (6-1) at No. 2.
FALL 2022
Began the season with a 2-3 record at the Four in The Fall Tournament at the University of Alabama…was 1-1 in singles and 1-2 in doubles play at Alabama…earned her first singles win of the fall season with a 6-4, 6-2, win over Elysia Pool of South Alabama on the second day of the Four in the Fall Tournament…teamed with Cade Cricchio to defeat Rebeka Kern and Sydney Orefice of Alabama (6-4) in doubles play on the second day of the tournament…finished with a 1-2 record at the ITA Southeast Regional Championship at Georgia Tech…was 0-1 in singles and 1-2 in doubles play…gained a singles victory over Rebekkah Gaines of Florida A&M (6-0 6-2) and doubles win while playing with Kianah Motosono over Sara Rakim and Genesis Whitelock of Florida A&M…a near perfect 5-1 record in five matches played at the San Juan Invitational…was 3-0 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles play…in singles, she defeated Ariel Johnson of Wisconsin (6-0, 6-1), Andrea Cerdan of Michigan (3-6, 2-1, default) and Vanderbilt’s Dasha Kourkina (6-2, 7-5)…was a doubles winner with Ellie Schoppe over Kourkina and Amy Stevens of Vanderbilt (6-4) and with Millie Bissett over Anastasia Astakhova of Auburn and Charmaine Seah of Wisconsin (6-4)…joined by Ellie Schoppe as the two Seminoles who finished play undefeated at the San Juan Invitational…earned a 5-1 record at the fall-season ending UNF Invitational…finished with a perfect 3-0 record in singles and a 2-1 mark in singles as she played with teammate Mila Saric…earned singles victories over Jaleesa Leslie of UCF (7-5, 6-3), Isabel Oliveira of UNF (6-1, 6-1) and Siera Berry of USF (7-6 (9-7), 6-4)…teamed with Saric to earn doubles wins over Lucia Aranda and Emma van Poppel of UNC Charlotte (6-4) and Francesca Feodorov and Hannah McColgan of Maryland (7-6 (7-1)…
SPRING 2021
A member of the team but did not play in any matches during the spring season…suffered a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot that had traveled from her leg to her lungs prior to the start of the spring season…was a part of the team as a team leader during her recovery.
FALL 2021
Earned a 3-3 record in singles play as one of Florida State’s most active players…played singles in three different championship events…was 2-1 in the UNF Fall Invitational, 1-0 in the Roberta Alison Fall Classic and 0-2 in the ITA Division I Southeast Regional Championship…advanced to the finals of Flight D competition at the UNF Fall Invitational…moved forward with a 6-3 and 6-3 decision against Brooke Theis of Tulane in the quarterfinals…defeated Samantha Buyckx of Clemson, 7-5 and 6-3 win in the semifials…fell to Sara Dahlstrom of Florida, 0-6 and 5-7 in the championship finals of the flight…advanced to the Round of 32 at the ITA Southeast Regional Championship…played Andreea Velcea of FIU (4-6, 4-6) and Mai Napatt Nirundorn or Georgia (0-6, 6-7 (5-7) in the event…defeated Kasia Pitak of Alabama (6-2, 3-6, 10-4) in the first round of the Jill Breslin Singles Draw in the Roberta Alison Fall Classic…teamed with Lesedi Jacobs in doubles play at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic…the Seminole pair lost to Ola Pitak and Kasia Pitak (7-6(4) in the Routlliff/Jansen Doubles draw at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic.
SPRING 2021
Appeared in six singles matches and three doubles matches…played all three of her dual matches in singles on court six…improved her career singles record in duals to 3-1…recorded wins in tournament play versus Clemson and USF.
SPRING 2020
Earned a 2-0 record in both singles and doubles play as the Seminoles earned a No. 2 national ranking…earned singles wins in Florida State’s team victories over Florida A&M and No. 10 Virginia…her victory (7-6(2), 7-5) over the Cavaliers’ Vivian Glozman clinched the victory for the No. 4 Seminoles over Virginia…played on court No. 6 in both of her victories…earned doubles victories against Air Force (playing with Emmanuelle Salas) and Florida A&M (playing with Mira Stegmann).

Graduated from Complesso Scolastico Gauss in 2019…played in the Australian Junior Open…has represented her home county of Italy on the tennis courts.
