ON MOTOSONO
In her second season at Florida State after playing three seasons at the University of Oklahoma (2018-19 through 2020-21)…working on completing her Master’s in Business at Florida State during her final season as a Seminole…earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration as she earned a doubled major in International Business and Economics from Oklahoma in December of 2021…a member of Florida State’s 2022 NCAA Championships team.
SPRING 2023
Earned 10 victories (one in singles and nine in doubles) in the 2023 spring season…helped the Seminoles reach the Round of 32 in the NCAA Championships and quarterfinals of the ACC Championship…started off the season with four straight doubles victories at No. 2 doubles with Ellie Schoppe, which includes a (6-3) win against Emma Sun and Alexandra Yepifanova of the 7th-ranked Standford…won (6-0, 6-0) against Reagan Harris of FAMU to secure her first singles win in the 2023 season…earned a (7-5) win against Carol Lee and Rosie Garcia Gross at No. 3 doubles of No. 20 Georgia Tech with Olympe Lancelot to secure the doubles point and 4-3 team victory… defeated Marice Aguiar and Laura Lopez of 46th-ranked Boston College (6-3) at No. 1 doubles with Vic Allen to claim the doubles point and 5-2 team win…Motosono and Allen also captured a (7-6(4)) win over Semra Aksu and Katie Andreini of the 64th ranked Virginia Tech in route of securing the doubles point and 5-2 team victory.FALL 2022
Finished with a 1-1 record at the ITA Southeast Regional Championship in Atlanta…defeated Sofia Pinedo of Kennesaw State (6-7 (3), 7-6 (4), 10-7)…teamed with Alice Amendola to defeat Sara Rakim and Genesis Whitelock of Florida A&M (8-6)…finished with a 5-1 record at the San Juan Invitational…was a perfect 3-0 in singles play with wins over Anastasia Astakhova of Auburn (6-4, 6-4), Bayley Sheinin of Michigan (5-7, default) and Amy Stevens of Vanderbilt (6-3, 6-1)…was 2-1 in doubles play in San Juan…teamed with Vic Allen for a 6-3 win over Vanderbilt’s Holly Staff and Bridget Stammel and played with Ellie Schoppe for a 6-1 win over Vanderbilt’s Dasha Kourkina and Anessa Lee…played with Allen for a second time and fell to Ava Markham and Maria Sholokhova of Wisconsin (6-3)…totaled a 3-1 record at the Stetson Invitational…two victories on Day 1 in singles over Anna Babayan of Coastal Carolina (6-3, 6-3) and in doubles with Vic Allen over Tatum Burger and Jesse Hollins of Coastal Carolina (6-0)…third win of the tournament came in doubles play with Cade Cricchio over Noa Cohen and Pilar Astigarraga Harper of Stetson (6-0) on the second day of the event…totaled an overall mark of 4-3 (3-0 in doubles with a Flight Championship and a 1-3 record in singles play) at the UNF Invitational…teamed with Ellie Schoppe for doubles victories Hannah McClogan and Francesca Feodorov of Maryland (6-3), Jojo Bach and Mary Brumfield of Maryland (6-3) and Grace Schumacher and Margriet Timmermans of USF (6-2)…their win over Schumacher and Timmermans gave them the flight championship…earned a singles victory over Timmermans of USF (6-3, 6-2).
SPRING 2022
A member of Florida State’s lineup and helped the Seminoles reach the Round of 32 at the 2022 NCAA Championships…the Seminoles’ second winningest singles player with 12 victories including four in ACC play and two in the NCAA Championships against both FIU and Florida…played on four different courts in singles – court three (one match against North Carolina), court four (four matches), court five (16 matches) and court six (four matches)…was Florida State’s mainstay on court five over the final month of the season and into the postseason (the ACC and NCAA Championships)…the Seminoles’ anchor on court two in doubles play as she played 23 of her 25 doubles matches on that court…played on court one against North Florida and court three in Florida State’s win over Louisville…played with four different doubles partners (Lesedi Jacobs, Petra Hule, Olympe Lancelot and Vic Allen…played in the ACC and NCAA Championships with Vic Allen…the pair of Motosono and Allen was the Seminoles’ second-winningest doubles pair of the season with eight victories…began her Florida State career at the Torero Invitational where she competed in both singles and doubles…finished with a 1-2 record in singles as she gained a win over Tiffany Lagarde of Kansas by scores of 5-7, 6-2, 10-8…earned doubles victories over Rachel Krzyzak and Sabina Machalova of Ole Miss by a score of 6-3 while playing with playing with Olympe Lancelot…also earned a doubles victory over Bojana Marinkov and Camryn Stepp of Texas Tech by a 7-6 (705) score while playing with Olympe Lancelot…Motosono and Allen gained their biggest victory of the season with a 7-5 win over North Carolina’s Alle Sanford and Carson Tanguilig in the ACC Championship…the victory over the Tar Heel pair allowed Florida State to win the doubles point in the ACC quarterfinals…was 2-0 in the ACC Championships with Allen as they earned wins over Jilia Andreach and Yashna Yellayi of Notre Dame (6-4) as well as Sanford and Tanguilig of North Carolina…the Seminoles won the doubles points in both of their ACC Championship matches against the Fighting Irish and the Tar Heels….A double winner in the first two decisions of her Seminole career with singles and doubles wins over Mercer and Illinois…gained a singles win over Francesca Franchi (6-0, 6-0) in singles and Lekha Varudandi and Kristin Yordanova in doubles (6-4) in Florida State’s 4-3 win over Mercer…a singles win over Kasia Treiber (7-5, 4-6, 6-3) along with a doubles win over Ashley Yeah and Josie Frazier (6-2) in the Seminoles’ 4-3 win over Illinois…a double winner against Florida Gulf Coast, Louisville and Boston College…earned doubles wins in ACC play against Clemson (with Allen), Virginia Tech (with Allen), at Louisville (with Lancelot) and against Boston College (with Allen).
FALL 2021
A student-athlete at the University of Oklahoma but did not play in any matches.
SPRING 2021
16-15 overall singles record…12-3 in doubles on the year… 10-8 in dual match singles action between courts five and six in the spring of 2021…clinched five wins for the Sooners…earned a 12-3 mark in doubles with an 11-2 record with Dana Guzman…with Guzman, she was 5-1 in Big 12 competition…clinched six doubles points for OU with Guzman.
FALL 2020
Finished with a 6-7 record in fall tournament singles play…made a run to the Round of 16 at the ITA Central Region Championships…first team Academic All-Big 12…also received the Big 12’s Dr. Gerald Lage Award, the conference’s highest academic honor.
SPRING 2020
Tallied a 7-3 overall record before the 2019-20 season ended early due to COVID-19…finished with a 2-0 record and gave up just three games across those matches…shut out Audrianna Kallie of Arkansas Pine Bluff (6-0, 6-0; March 8).
FALL 2019
Earned a 5-3 in fall singles action…named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team for her work in the classroom…boasted a 4.0 GPA.
SPRING 2019
Completed her freshman season at 18-13 overall…finished with a 10-10record in singles action playing primarily on court five…first career dual match victory came as a shutout of Oral Roberts’ Andrea Vasilijevic on court six…clinched OU’s 4-0 win over Winthrop on Jan. 25 with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at the No. 6 line to send the Sooners to the ITA Kickoff Weekend Championship match…grabbed one of OU’s two singles wins against Texas A&M when she held on for a 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 [4] win over Riley McQuaid at the No. 5 line…compiled a 10-3 record in doubles with Oleksandra Korashvili, playing on court three…with Korashvili, clinched five doubles points for the Sooners.
FALL 2018
Finished with an 8-3 singles record during the fall season…recorded a 4-1 finish at the ITA Central Region Championships, her first tournament as a Sooner…notched a third-place finish at the Marliss Gruver Memorial Tournament…went undefeated (3-0) at the Kitty Harrison Invitational…partnered with classmate Laura Rico-Garcia in doubles and went 3-4…finished in the doubles quarterfinal at the ITA Central Region Championships with Rico-Garcia.

Graduated from Club Med Academies in 2018…career-high ITF Rank of 159…Panama Bowl Grade 4 ITF Singles and Doubles champion…TIHTA Aruba Grade 4 ITF singles and doubles champion…Copa Gogo Grade 5 ITF singles champion…played in the 2017 Junior US Open qualifying draw, where she advanced to the second round..Lion Cup Grade 3 ITF doubles champion.
