Eyeing first NCAA Championships appearance on the heels of an outdoor season that saw her post three meet victories in the pole vault and establish a new career-best of 4.02 meters (13-2.25) at the FSU Relays…enters NCAA East Preliminary meet tied for 30th in the pole vault…ranks No. 3 all-time among Seminoles in the pole vault…nominated for CoSIDA Academic All-American honors on the strength of her 4.00 gpa.
2014
Outdoor: Counts victories at the USF Open, FSU Relays and Seminole Twilight among highlights this season…posted a career-best sixth-place finish at the ACC Championships, helping the Seminoles complete the Triple Crown with a team title…has cleared 13-feet or better in four of nine meets.
Indoor: Built on successful freshman season by matching her indoor career-best (3.87 meters) at the Cherry & Silver Invitational in New Mexico…established a new indoor best at the prestigious Tyson Invitational, soaring 3.90m (12-9.50), which ranks No. 5 on FSU’s indoor top 10 list, to finish third.
2013
Outdoor: Cleared a then career-best 4.00 meters (13-1.50) at the NCAA East Preliminary meet to place 18th, narrowly missing a trip to the NCAA Championships as a freshman…performed at her best down the stretch, following up seventh-place ACC Championships finish (3.90m) with a vault of 3.92 at Georgia Tech Invitational…opened the outdoor season with consecutive wins at the UNF Spring Break and Bulls Invitational meets…earned All-ACC Academic and USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.
Indoor: Competed in six meets highlighted by her fifth-place finish in the pole vault at the ACC Championships (3.87m/12-8.25)…also cleared the same height to place fifth at Razorback Invitational.
Personal:
Captured the Indiana High School state title in the pole vault as a senior and also placed sixth in the high jump…finished fourth at the USA Junior Track & Field Championships with a vault of 3.95m (12-11.50)…high school honor student who is majoring in exercise science…earned academic all-state honors while starring on the track at Bloomington High South…a member of the Catholic Student Union at Florida State…born January 14, 1994.
